Goulding Method®

A soft method reserved for children aged 1 to 12, and carried out by parents.

The Goulding Method® was developed by Joanne Goulding as a result of her own needs regarding her young daughter in the late 70s in Australia.

 

It is a very safe and effective method to assist parents in working across a number of areas to raise emotionally balanced and happy children.

 

Major emotional and behavioral areas treated:

self-esteem, self-confidence, anger, speech, sleeping disorders, panic attacks, temper tantrums, ADHD, autism, concentration, thumb sucking, aggression, separation anxiety, sibling rivalry.

What if my child does not want to communicate with the therapist?

It is a parent-delivered process. There is no active and direct communication between the child and the therapist.

What happens in a session?

The first session is dedicated to understanding and evaluating the child's current situation and areas to work on.  The parent(s) are given a simple, short, and very effective process to apply during the child's certain sleep stage. The therapist also explains how and why the method works, and what the success factors are. 

The second and third sessions cover the feedback and analysis of the improvements in the well-being of the child and the family atmosphere. The process is adjusted as per the evolution.

Shall I change my child's daily routine?

No, the procedure is applied when the child is sleeping.

What is the duration and the cost of a session?

The first session is the longest which may take up to 90 minutes. The second and third sessions vary between 45 to 60 minutes.

Package of 3 sessions +  3 phone calls in between sessions CHF 450.- cash or Twint on the first session day.

 

Sessions are held in English, French, or Turkish
