Introduction to Shamanism & Shamanic Journeying
This course is designed to introduce you to the world of Shamanism
Shamanism is an ancient spiritual practice that helps to connect us with nature and the universe. It has been practiced by indigenous cultures around the world for thousands of years.
During the workshop, we explore Core Shamanism, which is a modern form of shamanism that is based on the universal beliefs of shamanism. It is a system of spiritual healing and personal growth that emphasizes direct revelation and experiential learning. Core Shamanism does not require any cultural or spiritual background, and is accessible to people from all walks of life.
Our workshop is also focusing on shamanic journeying – a powerful ancient practice of connecting to the spiritual realms and accessing spiritual guidance for personal healing and spiritual growth. It is a form of energy medicine, using sound, movement, and altered states of consciousness to access the wisdom of the ancestors and other spiritual helpers.
Through the use of drumming and chanting, we will explore the hidden realms, and gain access to the wisdom and healing that lies within.
Through a series of conversation, activities, and guided meditations, we will explore shamanic techniques and rituals, learn how to use them to connect to the natural world and to our own inner wisdom.
This workshop is in line with Sandra Ingerman's work on Introduction to Shamanic Journeying, a world-renowned teacher of shamanism, recognized for bridging ancient cross-cultural healing methods with modern culture.
In our workshops, we provide a safe and supportive container for journeying and provide guidance and instruction to ensure participants receive the most benefit from this powerful experience, and to gain a deeper understanding of its healing potential.
Who Can Attend:
This course is perfect for beginners and anyone interested in shamanic journeying. No prior experience is necessary—just an open heart and a willingness to learn! Children aged 15 and above are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
